Hello weekend readers!
Well, normally, I'd be doing my blog on a Saturday morning. However, the weather was just so divine this weekend that I HAD to be outside enjoying it, and thus, Sunday evening blog time.
This beautiful weather has inspired me on beach fashion.
What should you wear to the beach this summer, besides SPF 15+? Let's find out!
We are so lucky this summer to have so many choices!
Bright patterns, florals, neons, stripes with neons, floral neons are all in... I could go on for ages...
3 important things to remember:
#1 It's the BEACH. Sand, wind, water.
So don't be prancing around in your $200 Tory Burch slip-ons. Be comfortable!
Get out your Havaianas (or Havis' as we like to call them) and get going! Honestly, why bother with any other type of footwear when the range of patterns and colours in these 'flip flops' is so extravagant.
#2 Be natural. There is nothing worse then your hair blowing into your face and sticking to your bright red lippy. Just don't go there. Use a natural SPF lip conditioner if you need to.
#3 Leave the metallics at home. This includes, chunky bracelets, metallic bikinis, dangly earrings. These do not belong at the beach. Chunky bracelets will leave a tan mark anyway and leave the metallic bikinis to the showgirls and meter maids - trust me!
