While we are all quick to scrub the house from top to bottom and give our wardrobes a bit of an overhaul, not many of us remember to do something that's very important... keeping our makeup bags clean and clutter free.
Every girl we know has a pile of makeup in her drawer that she
"sometimes" uses.
Translation: Never uses, but keeps "just in case".
Beauty products DO have a shelf life so it is super important for us girls to go through our makeup bags regularly, not only to keep it tidy but to prevent unnecessary breakouts and skin problems from using dirty brushes or old makeup. While it is unlikely that you will develop blindness from an old mascara the important thing to remember is that you need to keep everything that you apply to your face clean. This will also allow you to have a flawless look.
