Stefan Swatches!

Happy Friday Everyone!

So the silly season has finally arrived and our Head Office is getting a bit festive!

Chloe from accounts hogged all the good decorations though - look at her desk!

We are all so busy in the office at the moment, that online shopping is a nice easy way to get all your Christmas Pressies.
(I have noticed the delivery man arriving with lots of ASOS packages recently - maybe some of us girls are doing a little TOO much online shopping!)

If you go onto our Stefan online shop, there's heaps of goodies - perfect for spoiling the special people in your life.
We have our Christmas Bag special on at the moment where if you buy a Stefan Tote Bag for $49.95, you can fill it with as many Stefan products as you like, and pay only 1/2 price for all the products!

I have been thinking though, sometimes when you are buying makeup online, it is actually quite hard to tell what the colours ACTUALLY look like!
So I have done swatches of all our Stefan eyeshadow palettes so you can see the amazing colours on actual skin.

Butterflies and Parties

With this palette you could easily create an amazing peacock eye. Start with sweeping your whole eye with the purple, then shadow heavily in the crease with the blue. If you get a small narrow angled brush, put the lightest blue around your tear duct to open the eye up wider. A thin coat of liquid liner will top this look off completely!

Lola and Love

Build up the intensity with this look by starting with the white colour and sweep the entire eyelid. Next lightly sweep the entire lid with the light silver (If you put white under any colour, it increases the intensity)
Then shadow in the eye crease with the dark silver, and finally smudge the black in the further corner of the eye lid.
Take a flat angled brush and line the bottom lash line with the dark silver and then fill in the lash line with black kohl liner.
I would also put the white colour around the tear duct to open up the eye. Finish with a thick coat of mascara - HOT!

Chocolate Dreams

This is a really beautiful natural palette but can achieve a really dramatic look. For this look you will need a thick black kohl eyeliner pencil, a lighter or a match and a flat angled brush.
As with the other looks, start with the lightest colour and build up.
Then add a thick layer of the chocolate brown at the outside corner crease of the eye. Next, heat your kohl pencil in the flame of a match or lighter for about 10 seconds. Wait until it has cooled, and then put a thick layer on your top and bottom lash lines. Get your angled brush and smudge the top line right out to the corner of your eye, fanning upward.
Repeat on the bottom lash line, but slightly fanning downward.
With another fine brush, rim the bottom line with a light coat of the gold to give a smokey, egyptian effect!

CHAMPAGNE LIMOUSINES

This is a really shimmery palette and with shimmer, I always think it looks really amazing to just use one thick coat with a thick liquid line. My favourite is the look above - use a silvery colour, with bold brows and a thick cat-eye liquid line. This is really elegant, and quite mod!

Cocoa and Cream

This is a very natural palette for everyday use. It gives an au-natural, flawless look, but still gives a bit of colour and highlighter to your lids. As per usual, use the lightest colours first, and gradually build up to the outer crease of the eye. Use the gold or silver shimmer under the bottom lash line - depending on what jewelerry you are wearing!

I hope that helps with determining what colours you want to buy from our Stefan Online Shop!
