I have always been really intrigued by the concept of hair extensions, but have always had long hair - so have never had them!
Today in our concept salon I watched one of our top stylists, Bonnie, remove our beauty therapist Carla's, hair extensions.
I will talk you guys through the process...
Prior to the removal, Carla's hair was very long, but quite dry (no offense Carla!)
She felt is was getting a bit straggly, and she wanted silky, smooth, well conditioned hair for summer.
So Bonnie sectioned Carla's hair, and found the extensions. She then brushed adhesive remover onto the glue tape, and then lightly tugged on the ends of the extensions and they slid out easily.
Bonnie then thoroughly washed Carla's hair to try and remove all the extra glue (as you can see Carla is having a great time!)
She used the Stefan Alive Nourishing Shampoo, Conditioner and Treatment to ensure Carla's hair was thoroughly nourished, and that all the adhesive remover was gone.
The nest step was to remove any residual glue by lightly combing Moroccanoil Light Oil Treatment through her hair.
Bonnie then put the Stefan Heat Protector through the ends to ensure Carla's hair was moisturised and protected prior to blow-drying.
The final step was to run the Stefan blowdry creme through Carla's hair prior to straightening to ensure Carla's hair stayed long, sleek and shiny for the rest of the day....
DRUM ROLL PLEASE......
And look at that!
Carla's hair looks sleek and nourished and so, so shiny!
Never try and remove your extensions at home as you can really damage your hair.
As you can see, a proper treatment can really restore the condition of your hair after extension removal, and it has made such a difference to Carla's hair.
All Stefan salons offer hair extension application and removal.
Extensions can look amazing, but after a while, the wear-and-tear on your hair can really start to affect its condition.
Know when its time to get those babies out and get your hair looking gorge for summer.

Another major benefit people could get from bead extensions is that they cannot be easily determined to be fake as it cannot be felt or seen easily. It is more likely to consider buying wholesale hair extensions as the price of it is relatively cheaper compared to buying partially.
